Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments which are taken using the secure payment website Sage Pay - you will automatically taken to their secure payment site after entering your order details. We regret we can only take payments from Uk registered cards at this time.

We accept all major credit and debit cards except American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call us and place your order over the telephone. All payments via telephone are taken from your account immediately.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us at the earliest possible opportunity and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

We can ship to all areas in the UK and Southern Ireland - we regret we cannot send items overseas. Delivery surcharges can apply in some areas of the UK and will apply to Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland, so please read the information here and on our Delivery page or contact us for more detailed information.

All orders placed via our website before 12pm on working days (Monday to Friday) will be processed and shipped the same day. You will be notified that your order has been dispatched using the email address you provided us when you placed your order.

Orders are sent via our standard delivery service, unless requested otherwise (via telephone) which takes up to three working days (Monday to Friday).

If for any reason the item/s you have ordered is out of stock you will be notified via the email you provided us with and given the option of waiting for the item to come back inot stock, cancelling your order and where appropriate alternative products will be suggested in case you would like to amend your order.

Guaranteed next day delivery is currently available for orders placed before 12pm - if you would like to order a next day service, please call us to do so. Next day services are not available in all areas, and you will be advised of this by one of our customer service team if this applies to you. Next day delivery charges vary depending on area and size, weight of orders and our customer service team will offer you a quote via telephone before you confirm if you wish to proceed with the next day service.

PLEASE NOTE: Our standard delivery charge is £4.95 on orders under £150, and free for orders over £150. There are some area in the UK where delivery surcharges apply. These are detailed in our Delivery Service page. Please read this page carefully for information on where surcharges apply.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you within 2 - 3 business days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your 'BGH' order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order, or swicth to a suitably alternative product if you would rather not wait.

You will be kept informed on the expected delivery date of your item if it is out of stock and you may cancel at any pooint before we dispatch the item. Payments made for back orders can be taken in advance upon request, but this is not done as standard. The payment taken online by our secure payment system is a deferred payment and the money does not leave you account until the item/s are being dispatched.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is included in the price you pay. For orders to the Channel Islands, you will need to claim back the VAT - if we are delivering directly to you then we can do this for you so please contact us in these instances. Delivery surcharges apply to the Channel Islands so if you place an order we will contact you to discuss these and will arrange the VAT at the same time.

Credit Card Security

All credit and debit card payments are made using the secure card payment website sage pay. All major credit and debit cards are accepted and at no point do we hold or keep any credit card information.

Sage pay is a seperate website where you are directed to in order to make secure card payments. Once the payment is made you are automatically redirected back to our website.

Sage pay payments can be made by anyone and you do not need an account with them in order to make a payment.

Big Game Hunters do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the 'BGH' order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
