4 Fun Trampoline Games:

Twisted Trampoline

Twisted Trampoline Players: 2 -3 What you will need: Four different colours of chalk (preferably red, blue, yellow and green), a spinner either from the board game or an app on your phone.

Draw a row of four rows six circles in each of your four colours of chalk. The spinner or the app will give you your directions. You have to place the part of your body called out onto a vacant circle in the colour described. For example “Right foot blue”. The position players need to get into in order to follow the directions will get more complicated.

A person is disqualified when their elbow or knees touch the trampoline mat.

Pop Quiz

Pop Quiz Players: 2 or more (1 quiz master and 1 person or team answering the questions) What you will need: One stick of chalk. With the summer looming kids of all ages are tested to a rigorous standard at school. This game involves two people and one person must write out a series of short questions or maths problems depending on the subject you are studying. The second person is the one being tested and must write down their answers. The examiner must then mark the answers in sequence. After every wrong answer the person being tested must do ten star jumps while reciting the correct answer! Next time they won’t get the question wrong!

Trampoline Dodgeball

Trampoline Dodge Ball Players: 2 or more What you will need: A soft foam ball or socks rolled into a ball This is a classic game in the United States and playing it on a trampoline gives it an exciting new twist. Older players need to be gentle with each other! The game is played with one person on the trampoline while at least one more must stand off the trampoline and throw the ball. If the person on the trampoline gets hit then they must swap positions with the person who threw the ball.

Copy the Bounce

Copy the Bounce Players: 2 or more What you will need: A bit of imagination and a lot of coordination!

This fun tramploine game is based on following a sequence of bounces. The first person starts with one move and the next adds another.

Each time you have a go they must add a new move to the routine. For example if there are three players, player one does a star jump, player two does a star jump and knee bounce and player three does a star jump, knee bounce and spin.

The routine will continue to get more complicated and if you mess it up you’re out! These are some of the games that we like to play but we’d love to hear from you. What games do you play on your trampoline? Do you go for the classics or have you made up your own?
